Landmark DECIDE Registry Data Demonstrate Impact of Heartflow Plaque Analysis on Coronary Artery Disease Medical Management. Click to read press release.

A More Definitive Picture of Heart Health

We are Heartflow and we’re on a mission to transform coronary artery disease (CAD) from the leading cause of death into a disease that can be managed for life. Our AI-driven, non-invasive test has been delivered to more than 400,000 patients at over 1,400 institutions around the world. Heartflow Analysis creates a personalized, color-coded 3D model of your coronary arteries to measure the impact of plaque buildup on blood flow. This helps your provider understand the severity of your disease and how to best treat it.1,2

The Heartflow Difference

Non-invasive

Heartflow Analysis is an imaging analysis software that builds a personalized, 3D model of your arteries using images taken during your Coronary CTA (CCTA), so no invasive tests or anesthesia needed.

Accurate

Heartflow Analysis has demonstrated superior accuracy in diagnosing CAD compared to other non-invasive cardiac tests such as stress testing.4 It has been clinically proven to align with results from more invasive tests.5

Comprehensive

Heartflow goes beyond traditional tests by identifying different types of plaque in your coronary arteries—including those most likely to cause a cardiac event3—and measuring how they affect blood flow to your heart.

Guides Treatment Decisions

The information provided by Heartflow—including both FFRCT and Plaque Analysis—helps your provider determine the most appropriate treatment pathway.1,2 This may include lifestyle changes, medications, or minimally invasive procedures such as stenting.

Frequently Asked Questions

The process begins with a non-invasive Coronary CTA (CCTA) scan of your heart to look for blockages. If the scan shows disease or your doctor needs additional information, your doctor may order a Heartflow Analysis. There is no additional appointments or action needed from you.

Because Heartflow Analysis is a technology that uses your CTA scan, there are no additional risks associated with it. Benefits include:

  • Provides the most accurate diagnosis of CAD4,5 and is recommended by cardiology society guidelines6
  • Non-invasive, therefore imposing less risk.
  • Provides a streamlined experience, reducing the need for additional tests and visits.7
  • No additional radiation exposure.

Heartflow Analysis is covered by Medicare across the U.S. and most commercial insurers, for eligible patients. Your insurance coverage, specific plan benefits and the type of facility you visit will determine if you owe anything for the test. To verify coverage by your plan, ask your doctor’s office or your insurance provider.

To request Heartflow Analysis, ask your cardiologist or primary care physician if it would be appropriate for you.
